Hello all! Thanks for allowing me to join the group.

I just picked up a 2010 last week. I traded in my '03 4Runner on this bad boy and I can't be more excited. The main reason we decided to trade in our beloved 4Runner was that we picked up an Airstream last fall and couldn't tow it. We can't be more excited to use the truck to go on some grand adventures while towing our Airstream.

There are a couple of plans I have for mods, etc. I did already swap out the radio for a Pioneer unit that has wireless Carplay, game changer!

Next on the list, is possibly getting a spray-on bed liner. I've not priced them before, any idea what those run?

Welcome aboard from Tennessee :) nice lookin truck. Line X seems to be the most popular and I have had good luck with them, ballpark price is around $550 I think. Haven't had one done in a while but I think that is pretty close.

Welcome! My last Tundra was a 2010 and was a great truck. Even though we have a new 2020 I miss that 2010. Lots of family & Dog trip memories and never let me down except when the OEM battery died after 8 years. Grabbed a new battery and off we went. That was my fault, I knew I was on borrowed time with 8 years on the battery. Love the compartments on the 2010, sliding arm rest, dual glove boxes, dual back of front seat storage, all de-contented on the new ones. Is that Slate Metallic? That's a great color too. I installed a rear backup camera that was plug and play with a LCD mirror from Camera source. It was a great OEM plug & Play mod for backing and trailer alignment.

Best of Luck with your new Tundra!

    Working on it!
I had the LineX in Knoxville spray my 18 Platinum when I bought it (negotiated during sell). I'm not sure I had the best level because it wasn't "shiny" and it did have a small discoloration after hauling something (cannot remember what it was, not paint or liquid). The only negative thing I'll say about the Knoxville LineX is that they stuck a LineX sticker on my back glass without asking me. I don't put stickers on my vehicles, so I was pretty pissed.

I had a LineX spray in bed liner on my 2010 in 2012 held up great. Had Bullet Liner do my 2020 also great and by a guy from LineX. Get UV protection if exposed (std on Bullet). Both put stickers on back window. Bullet Liner sticker looks cool. Ez to remove but they should ask. Spray in quality and masking can vary even amongst name shops. Check reviews on the shops.

    Welcome Knox from Knoxville/Corryton.

I would for sure go with Line-X. I have had some other as in Raptor and Line-X is better in my opinion.

As Scott F. Said, there are different levels of Line-X. If you get the base level which should be $450 - $600, you will have discoloration and if you do not have a bed liner you will see fading pretty quickly. You need to jump up to the premium or platinum. Once you get to premium, you get a higher tensile or strength in the actual bed liner. You also get a shiny top coat that is 100% UV resistant and will not fade. Platinum is same as premium, but even harder and tougher.

I always go Premium. It is a couple hundred more, but more than worth it.

Line-X of Knoxville does a ton of Berliner's and many other parts for jeeps, etc.... They do a good job but crank them out.

I prefer Lakeway Line-X in Morristown. They will schedule you a week or so out and only will do 1 or 2 a day. They did a fantastic job on mine.

Hands down, I know it is more but the Premium is more than worth it. If not, in a couple years you will have fading and discoloration and not be real happy.
