Hello all. I just bought my new(used) '18 Tundra Crew cab TRD Sport 2 days ago and am in love with it! It's a huge upgrade for me since I'm coming from my LT & boosted '02 Tacoma that I couldn't think of parting with. I'm a long time member on TacomaWorld and thought it just be easier to keep my same username from there

The past couple days I've been doing alot of research on potential mods and upgrades that are out there for this truck including stocking up on routine maintenance parts.

I look forward to becoming a part of the Tundra family and learning so much more. I do have a couple of simple questions already but will see if I can't find the answers on my own.

Thank you! I see you also have a 2018 TRD sport. That is what I have however mine is the crew cab.

Do all '18 TRD sports come with LED headlamps or is that an optional feature that some came with?

Also is the blind spot monitoring an optional feature as well?

They come with LED headlights and driving/fog lights.
The BSM is part of the optional TRD Sport Convenience Package.

Thank you. I've been looking through the Lighting section on here and seeing lots of talk about conversion for the older models. I'm glad our trucks already have them.

Any recommendations on replacements? Like I said, I like to stock up on replacement parts and keep on hand in my garage so I'm starting to create my lists. I did find the list of bulb replacement for the entire truck in Lighting section by AllaLighting. Any thoughts about those?

Thank you! I'll save this for future reference.

Looks like they have all bulbs listed when selecting by vehicle except the main headlamp bulb. Unless I'm missing it. No worries though, I'll be able to find it when that time comes when I'm ready to purchase.

Separate topic, I was looking into fuel type for these 5.7's. Owners manual says to use 87 or higher. Have you seen or heard anybody have issues using 85? I'm halfway through my first tank from the dealer and was wondering if 85 should absolutely not be used.

I'm coming from using 91 on my S/C'd Tacoma so it'll be somewhat nice not having to pay for premium although now I have a much larger tank and a v8. No complaints here though. I'm in love with my new Tundra already.

You can't change the headlight bulb because it's LED. You can change the whole headlight assembly. Most people get them from @memario1214 .

They don't offer 85 here so I can't help on that.
