Just saying Hi from a new Tundra and first Toyota owner. Picked up an '02 Access Cab, V8 with 180k on the clock. No rust frame, no leaks, with timing belt, water pump and radiator done at 170k. Paint definitely needs some work, with the front of the hood down to bare metal in front.

After reading Shifty's thread on "Just bought a 1st Gen Tundra" looks like replacing the LBJ's are in the future, also noticed the oil pressure gauge bottomed out so will be chasing wires or replacing the sending unit.

About me, I am not a gearhead but mechanically inclined and don't mind getting my hands dirty. A little instruction to point me in the correct direction and I can usually figure it out, so looking forward to tapping all the experience on here to keep my new truck running.

Will get one up sometime today, just picked up the truck yesterday. Will be taking detailed pics to see what mods have been done by tapping the hive mind on the forum. I usually keep my vehicles stock unless the mod improves longevity or performance.
