    Pulled the trigger yesterday and bought this 2000 Reg Cab SR5 4WD with about 180,000 on the ODO.

    Frame is solid (Toyota service records show it was replaced in 2010) and the truck is clean overall, for it's age. PO had no records of the timing belt being replaced, but was "sure" that it was done around 100k. I inspected the belt and it didn't look 23 years old, so I took my chances and drove the 275 miles from Virgina to New Jersey. Thankfully, made it home without any issues. Gonna replace the timing belt, water pump, and radiator hoses next weekend.

    Big thanks to everyone on this forum who made me feel confident with the decisions that led me to this purchase. Stoked to be a first gen owner!
