Hi there, New Tundra owner here, Name is Dave.
This is my 1st Toyota ever out of 150+ vehicles in 50 years of driving! Our Tundra has the 5.7 and so far we love it.
It's an 07 with 135,000 on the clock. Just bought it 4 days ago. Spent
2 full days cleaning the interior, pulled the seats and carpets and pressure washed everything.
The truck was FILTHY and had way too much Foo Foo smell in it. I could taste the perfume in my mouth while driving. Anyway it needs a few things and I have a couple questions.
First is the Passenger side does not blow cold air when the AC is on. Drivers does. We replaced the cabin filter as it was jammed full but still warm air on wife's side. Common???? Fixes???
Secondly I have to replace the rubber window sweeps on all 4 doors, Drivers door check stop, the roof rubber on driver side, and probably needs rotors as the brakes vibrate after warmed up and highway speeds , and finally I'd like to add fog or driving lights. Any good places OTHER THAN eBay or Rock Auto for parts? Thanks gang.

    Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)!

Sounds like the previous owner might not have done the best maintenance. You might want to have a thorough check of everything, change engine oil, drain and fill tranny fluid, replace rear diff fluid, etc. Also check the timing belt - I know at some point Toyota went back to a chain but I'm not sure what year. SparksParts.com is one popular place for parts that's mentioned here a lot. Others will chime in with other suggestions. We have a parts guy on the forum but his dealership is rebuilding (hopefully) their online parts presence so we cannot get stuff from him right now.

Bakershack, The previous owner did have the maintenance done (I got receipts) as far as fluids filters and belts and hoses done on a regular basis. BUT he did NOT clean this poor truck at all. I have never seen so much grime and dirt in a vehicle ever. I just sold my Mazda B2500 with 313,000 miles on it and it was MUCH cleaner. I will be doing all the fluids as soon as my garage is completed and my lift is installed. This is my 3rd garage (7 bays for 6 cars) on my property and its getting closer to completion. Thanks.

Welcome from TX! Great year model!

Picked up our 2007 with 133k miles on it a few tears ago.

I ordered the OEM window sweeps from ebay. Part numbers in my build. Easy diy job.
Rotors? Many go back to stock, some upgrade to something like Power Stops. I went back with OEM pads, rotors are ok for now.
Is your AC dual climate? If so make sure it set right. Not sure what else it could be. Youtube may surprise you with common problems or repairs.
I did have to replace the blower/motor assembly but it had failed.
    Good luck and enjoy. Also.....

That's great to hear! I don't think you mentioned the previous maintenance in your original post, and I usually see poor care of the interior as a sign of poor maintenance. I'm glad I was wrong about this one!

    Bakershack,
I agree totally with the Nasty inside = neglected maintenance. I also wonder what care REALLY was done cause I pulled the rear wheels due to a brake shutter and a grinding noise to find the pads were down to the backer plate on the outside pad. I didn't look at mechanicals on receipts, I looked for fluid maintenance. Front brakes are good. It stops nice and quiet now.
My big concern is the A/C not working on the copilot side. I'm wondering if its the knob control for that side as it does have dual climate control. I do not know much about electronics. Maybe the controls are switchable, when I get time I will check it out.

Good luck with your investigative work. You might want to post the question on the Ask the Toyota Mechanic thread. There is a retired Toyota tech there who is pretty knowledgeable.
