New Tundra Color

I have a 2021 crew max. This new color might entice me to get a new one.

 

I would not sacrifice reliability for a new paint color. Just my .02

I love my quicksand tundra but man, i could definitely seeing myself wrap it in this color. Looks good in the sun and i bet it looks cool in the snow too.

 

I heard it will come with a color matched purse to carry your balls in.

 

That would be a nice touch. They are always getting in the way

 

The next hit is going to be a pink one with a tampon dispenser built in the center console

 

when will they open up orders for this? its the best color any auto maker has come out with since Voodoo Blue. people who don't like it probably drive white gray or black. they should only make base models in those colors.

 

Blue Streak Metallic is still the best blue color Toyota has ever offered, IMO. I got more compliments on my Blue Streak 2008 Tundra than any vehicle I've owned.

I agree with others, this new blue looks a little too feminine for my tastes.

 

Doesn't Ford already do that? That's why they call their trucks the "F" series......female

To each their own, thats why we have choices, but I'll definitely pass on the Robin egg blue!

 

always be prepared. A wise man always carries a few because a happy wife is a happy life. Good husband points always win - got a few in the center console, along with ibuprofen, allergy pills, menstrual pills, Dramamine, sunscreen, bug spray.

on the note of the color, I dig it, probably wouldn’t buy it. But I’m tempted every day by those trucks with the solar octane/hunter orange look. LOVE that one.

 

Not sure I’d bring it home but wouldn’t kick it out of bed either.

 

Wow, so much hate here. I personally love it, but I also loved the Solar Octane Orange color.

 

Personally I don't like it at all, but then again, I love Terra, which was hated enough to only last 1 year on non-TRD Pro models

I had a friend where I use to work that sat on his balls getting in the back seat of a Chevy Celebrity. He tried to file a workman’s comp to pay for doctor bill. He was denied, all the women who worked in the workman’s comp office made their way to the 4th floor where we had our offices just to see what he looked like. He has since passed away.

 

Judging from the increased sac to gooch ratio, death was lurking.

The 50's had great colors like this. The 70's, especially Mopar products had other dynamic color choices like Plum Crazy. They were not called Lunar Rock or baby diarrhea mudslide. BTW way Mesquite is for BBQ not cars.

 

Just glad Toyota makes an effort with colors. Some makers dont.

Not everybody has to like them all

It would be great if they had a vote to pick from several. A people's choice color ever year

 

I have to say, while this isn't my jam, it is what it is.

What I really want to see is a nice deep purple with some real depth and sparkle. Throw your nuts on the table Toyota and give us that royal purple. Didn't they have a nice one, way back in time?

 

Ok I rescind my previous post about we all dont have to like a color it if it's Barney truck.

 

I have to admit, looking at real life examples, I'm not sure it's been done correctly yet 2nd and 3rd photo have potential tho!

 

Despite subjective color preferences, I don't think there is a color that stays cleaner looking than white.

To pavement pounders that might not matter. But, I spend a lot of time on dirt, so it matters to me.
