New truck, who dis?

Hi all,

I've lurked on here for many years with my 2012 Limited Crewmax and gotten some helpful information to fix issues so a huge thank you for the resource you provide.

I now have traded that in for a 2025 Limited Crewmax and am excited for the new journey.

I'm curious to know if/what differences there are between the Gen 3 years that I should watch out for when buying parts (like a 2022 part not working on a 2025). If there are any running lists you know of that would be helpful, otherwise I'll just be in the back using the search button.

Maybe this has already been covered but I did get my bed extender from my 2012 to fit with a little bit of force so that was a couple bucks saved. It doesn't look like the retractable bed step is compatible from 2012, correct me if I'm wrong.

I've started going through the "What have you done to your 3rd Gen Tundra Today" thread for ideas, I've only got 315 more pages to read through! (sigh)

I feel like Toyota paid attention/listened this time when styling the truck. They finally truly deleted all chrome including the window trim and the lug nuts (nightshade package).
