New to the group. I've been a Tacoma owner for many years. I had a 1999 Tacoma. Purchased brand new in 1999. In 2011, it was totaled when an old lady pulled in front of me..had 235K miles. I then purchased a 2007 Tacoma (used obviously) and drove it for 13 years. From recent life circumstances, I was in a position to put myself in something more modern and recently purchased a lightly used 2022 Tundra Limited TRD Off Road double cab with a V35A-FTS engine. With only 13K miles on it, it's practically brand new. I'll admit that I did little research on any issues with the V35A-FTS engine and am finding there are many recall concerns and complaints that are causing me concern. I'll admit, I love this truck and it runs very well. I purchaed from a reputable dealership and see that there are no open recall issues with it. So, I'm hoping to find out if I should be really concerned about it's reliability and performance or not. I guess I blindly went into this purchase having been a loyal, and very satisfied, Toyota owner for many years. I look forward to any knowlege I can gain from this group. Who knows? Maybe I'll be able to contribute something valuable to someone along they way.

Male, 54, Atlanta GA USA, size 11 shoe, no banana for scale.
