    Hi folks, new guy here with my first truck, I think i made the right choice.


    2008 RCSB 5.7 4X4
    175K miles
    Stock at time of purchase
    1 Owner, no accidents
    Runs like new

    I already did a few maintenance items, i'm a mechanic so I do all my own work.

    New pads, rotors, calipers all around. The old ones were decent, but the front calipers each side had a stuck piston that i could not rebuild. Ended up buying OEM ones and painted it.

    Water pump leaked upon purchase, this was a negotiating tool and I got another grand knocked off, I easily replaced this with $90 part and 2 hours of my time and a lot of cursing. While doing that I flushed and cleaned the cooling system as well.

    I wire brushed whatever rust that i could see and hit it with some POR15 followed by some matte black truck coating.

    Got 18x9 XD Addict wheels +18 offset with 35" Cooper tires

    I'm building this to take it across the united states, i own several other vehicles as well including a 2001 LX470 and an SL600 V12 Twin Turbo benz. All of which i bought with problems and fixed them up.

    Next up for me is a bed rack and i'm going to build my own RTT

    In the near future, sequoia LED headlights and maybe a metal bumper.

    Here's my LX if anyone cares, love this truck, too bad it's so slow, that's why i had to get the tundra for the mountain passes out west.

    And this is my V12 Twin Turbo Benz, please don't get one of these unless you know how to work on cars or have deep pockets. It is very expensive to fix. Coilpacks on our trucks are what? $60? On this car it's $1200. Stay away, you've been warned!
