    Hey all!
I'm new to this forum, but have been reading the exchanges and it is nice to see such great dialogue.
I bought a 2016 double cab TRD 7 months ago and am enjoying it a ton. I am a huge believer in Toyota, having driven a couple of early model Land Cruisers back from the west coast to Minnesota.
I have to admit I got sh*# from a few co-workers when I showed up to work with it.
Working in the trades, it seems rare to see anything except Ford, Chevy and Ram.
I believe there is really no such thing as a purely "American" truck anymore. In fact, I believe the Tundra to be more "American" than most.
Thoughts or feedback/knowledge on this topic would be helpful.
(I did run into one of our subcontractors with a Tundra crewmax recently, and it was really refreshing to see another proud Tundra owner in the trades! We talked about Tundras and Toyota in general for about an hour)
    Thanks all!

Welcome Jake from Pennsylvania. I agree with you, did a lot of comparing and hands down Toyota carries its value. Having it built in the great state of Texas is a bonus along with all other components from around the country. American hands put it together! Please share your pics and congrats on your latest purchase.
