Just joined the group. I’m on my 3rd Toyota tundra. It is a 2021 platinum, 4 inch lift with 20 inch rims and BF Goodrich All terrain A/T KO3’s, Windchill pearl paint and black interior. I traded my 2015 in for this one and wanted to keep the 5.7 engine. I live in Breckenridge colorado and the price of gas here is high. I have taken a couple trips back to missouri and as long as I have a west wind helping I get maybe 425 miles to a full tank. I have enjoyed the Toyota tundras for their solid built truck. I have owned all three major brands at one time and have found this truck more trust worthy and solid. The V-8 is a great engine but the 13 miles to a gallon is starting to hurt my wallet now that I’m retired. Has anyone done any engine modifications to help fuel efficiency? Any information will be help full. Great to join the group.

    Welcome from NY.

Only way to get better gas mileage but not much better would be to lower that lift, drop the tire size down to 18's and change those KO3's.......but who would want to do that.
Look at it this way, mileage sucks but you have 100% reliability.

You are answering your own question here... The best mileage you'll ever get is on a stock truck. Anything you do to it is only going to make it worse. As long as you are running bigger, much heavier tires on a lifted truck, don't expect good mileage from a truck that barely gets acceptable mileage stock.

Welcome to the group. Just be happy you aren't paying CA gas prices. We're still close to $5/gallon up here in nor cal.
