Hello everyone....glad to be a new member of this forum for Tundra owners....I've been a Tundra owner for a while now, but just now joining this group. I have 2017 SR5 TSS Off Road in the Crewmax and I love it!

I do have a question and I know this question has been asked a ton on this forum and on many others, but there seems to be many different answers to or opinions on the question so it has made it a tad difficult to make decisions from them, however, here goes...how much bigger can I truly go on tire size without making any modifications and sticking with my stock rims/wheels? When I bought my 2017 SR5 TSS, it came stock with the BFG T/A KO2s in a 285 55 20. I am still running these tires and they have been great on and off road with no audible or visible rubbing, however, I am wanting to upgrade to a bit bigger tire, but, for now, without making any modifications via lifting/leveling or trimming and staying with the stock wheels if possible. I want to upgrade to either a 285 60 20 or a 295 55 20. From what I have researched, the 285 60 is about an inch taller with about the same width I currently have and the 295 55 is about a half inch taller and wider than my current tires. The brand of tires I'm looking at in those sizes are the BFG T/A KO2s, BFG MT T/A KM3s, and/or the Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs. With just this minimal upsizing and from trying to visualize it on my truck, it would seem that either tire size would fit just fine, but it is hard to know for sure considering all the feedback that is out there as it relates. I know this has been a mouth full, but I'm trying to get a straight, accurate, "no kidding" answer, if possible, from this provided info. Please feel free to reply. All subject feedback will be very much appreciated. Thanks.
