Hey guys just picked up a 2019 trd sport 4x4 54k miles. I came from a 22 tundra. It’s already setup pretty well. Rough country lift, toyo at3s fuel rims etc. one thing I do want to add are some leather seat covers. Any recommendations?

Katzkin as are really nice but require you to remove the existing seat covers. If you want a bit of an easier install, a little cheaper and high quality look at clazzio as well. These go over the existing covers. I have had both and were impressed

Hey I know you haven’t had this truck for very long, but how do you like the Sport? I’m also currently looking at a 19 Sport after my 17 OR was totaled.

I love it so far. The fact that everything is color matched right from the start will save me both money and time. I drove it 5hrs home and can honestly say with the 3.5(I think) rough country lift and the trd sway bars this truck rides smoother than my 22 with the wescott lift.

Any experience with the EKR seat covers? Look decent for the price

No I don’t have any experience with them. If you’re not looking for leather, wet okole make a durable neoprene cover. Had them on my 4runner. They get hit in the summer and make you sweat but they work well.

I am sure someone else on the forum has tried the ekr and will chime in.

All the Katskins I’ve seen on here, and the vehicles I’ve rode around in with them have looked OEM+. Very good quality and fit. Maybe members on here with them long term could inform about longevity.

Yeah I like that it is color matched and already has led headlights and fogs.

I had Clazzio in my previous Tundra. Cheaper than the Katzkin. I liked them, however I think the Katzkin do look better.

I have Katzkin in my truck and have had it for a little over a year and seats still look brand new. The truck is my daily as well so the seat does see my ass a lot haha

I have a 19 too, absolutely love it. Only thing it was missing is a transmission cooler but I added the @Genuine Cooling Systems one and now the truck is absolutely perfect.

Thanks. They are Hostile's. They where on the truck when I bought it. I don't know much about them though. I know I need to put some new rubber on them come this summer time. I was looking at the Katskin seat covers for a minute until I priced them. They are not really seat covers though. They are more like reupholstering. They are real nice though.

OP your truck looks like a boss.

I also have the blacked out badges and am a fan.

I have an Off Road and wish I could've gotten a Sport but when I bought supply was short - had to take what I could get and am still very happy with it.

Yea go check out their web site. They have a ton of nice wheels to choose from. I'm big on the chrome delete. Chrome can look good but it can look better without it. I have never been into bling.

toyota gave me a great price on trade after about a year of use. Was able to locate this 2019 for a good price. Nothing wrong with the 22 was a great truck as well

Getting a boat shortly so I had 20k down on the 22. I paid 62k otd. Toyota gave me 58500. So took a check of about 21k. Found this truck for 43k otd put a few down. So all in all payment monthly is about the same with 20k in my pocket I can use towards something else.

I would take the 2019 over the 2022 anyway. I just like the truck better. To each their own I guess. You got yourself a real good deal at 43k with only 54k miles. I paid 50k for mine with 34k miles. It came with the lift, rims and tires on it though. The previous owner never took it off road either so all and all I think I did OK.

So have you decided on seat covers yet?

So you are buying a boat? Otherwise known as a black hole that you throw your money into. They can be fun but they are expensive.

    Congrats on the truck.

Thanks! Ya so far I have no regrets trading down. Hard to beat the sound of the v8! I think I’m going to go with the Ekr seat covers. Seems like a decent buy for the price
