I’m trying to get new tires for my 07 Tundra. I know that I want the Falken Wildpeak AT3W. Problem is the tire place that I’m going to says that there is no such thing as 4 ply for all-terrain tires. They ordered the LT 275/65/R18 that is 6 ply and S speed rated but I prefer the P rated tires. I’m trying to get them to understand that there are P rated version with 116T for the Falken Wildpeaks. I did my own research and not sure why it’s hard to replicate on their end. It’s even on their website. I don’t want heavy tires on my truck. My current tires are P rated and ride really smooth but the tread is low and there is wear. Have any of you used C load/6ply tires on your truck?

Myself and many others run E rated tires. Ride may suffer a bit, but they handle better, have greater resistance against certain road hazards, carry heavy loads better, etc. Ride is also going to vary greatly based on sidewall height and air pressure.

I had p rated AT3W in 275/65/18. If you don't need the extra load capacity or sidewall thickness, then you don't need the 6 or 10 ply. The p rated version is already heavy compared to other brands.

No need for anything other than P load on a Tundra. They are smoother, weight less, will offer better MPG and handle the capacity and towing the Tundra is rated for.
You can get that size in either P or E load- Here https://www.discounttire.com/buy-tires/falken-wildpeak-a-t3w

Many of use end up moving to E load tires because if you want to install larger than stock tires on a Tundra, E load is what is available in the larger sizes. I run 275/70-18s Wildpeaks, only available in E load and I was willing to use them because I wanted the larger size 33.4inches tall.

E load tires do stiffen the ride. But it is not all bad, they are certainly tougher and do improve handling, sharper feel in turning, less wallow. As with everything, there are trade off and benefits to whatever you change on your truck. If the cushiest ride is most important, stick with P load.

Order from Simple Tire and have a shop mount them.
