Very happy with the Cooper Rugged Treks so far. Taking it off road this weekend I hope so we’ll see how it does out there.

Yep. Better than a red light in SF.

This was actually in Union City right outside my nearest Discount Tires/America’s Tires. Stopped briefly just to look closely at the tires and take a few photos.

How are they on pavement? I have A/T on mine right now and don't notice a difference, I do like the tread patterns on these.

I have about 20k miles on mine. They’re more noisy than stock. But considering the tread profile it’s to be expected. They are not so loud that they bother me

Nice looking tires. I thought these were supposed to be 3PMSF rated for snow but I don’t see the emblem on the tire. Could you verify?

Wow. I grew up in Union City. Never heard anyone ever mention that name. LOL. I used to get my tires done there all the time.

I used to live in Niles right on the UC border so I know it well. My wife lived there and owned her home; I owned nothing, so that was simple, I moved when we got together.

we’ve since sold and moved into the East Bay Hills, on a few acres above Castro Valley and Dublin.

I was running stock before and this is my first Tundra or truck, so it’s my only basis of comparison. They are louder and stiffer. And you can feel it. But it’s much less noticeable than I expected. Definitely not uncomfortable and not too noisy.

these were cheaper but not significantly enough to be a make or break decision.

I have these too, they have been great so far. I bought these at the same time my dad bough Baja boss at’s. From looks alone I wish I had gone the same route as him. Both are 3 peak rated.

Cooper Rugged Trek are M+S only. Not 3 peak. If you have a tire that shows otherwise please post a pic!

I bought a readylift kit for my Sequoia and it did not come with the rubber or plastic bushings that other Kits come with to avoid having metal on metal clanging every time you hit a bump on the road. I called Readylift and they were useless. Does anyone have any suggestions? 7AA6CEC1-216E-4145-AE29-1414B135074B.jpg

Cool. It looks like Cooper must be rating certain sizes!

They are. Not all of them, but as I recall anything 265 or less is.

Thanks for the rude and ignorant question. Just because I live here doesn’t mean I’m confined here, nor does it mean I’m a latte or Prius loving San Franciscan. I never said I need these tires for driving here. Obviously not . I spend considerable time way far off the grid where these tires get used as they’re supposed to.

FYI, for those curious about mileage hit, I’ve been monitoring for a month now and about 1300 miles. I’ve averaged a roughly 0.4 mpg hit with these tires.

I’ve got probably 25k on my set now. They look great still. I’ll get a tread depth measurement. Have worn very even. I’d be Leary about a 3 peak rating. Not sure what the criteria is. But I’ve definitely had better tires in the snow.
