    Hi All!

it is pot hole and frost heavy season up here in NH and i am finally tired of my 2008 tundra riding like a dump truck ( very firm ride that throws me all over the cab when the road gets rough). Have owned the truck since new with 71,000 miles. shocks seem to be operating fine but the ride over rough roads sucks. highway and normal condition roads are good with no other issues such as the truck leaning in turns and bouncing and diving when braking.

it is a double cab, 6.5 foot bed SR5 ( not TRD off road) with 5.7 liter motor and 4 wheel drive.

and ideas on better shocks to replace the stock ones with for a better ride? i tow with this truck and i don't want the rear of the truck to sag when i tow my boat and car trailer but i can deal with a little sag when hooked up to a heavy trailer for an improved ride.

    thanks!

Bisltein 6112 and 5160. They have remote reservoirs. Valved differently than oem. A bit pricey than regular shocks. Next over are coil overs. I have King front and rear. Kings are rebuildable and can be tuned.

Are they tuned for a smoother, more supple ride?

I have the exact same truck in silver. If you are patient, i can review this -> OME-TUN07CL - Old Man Emu Suspension ('07 & Up 4x4 Tundra). I bought it from Toytec(hope that doesnt get me in trouble). My review would be comparing it to a 2013 crewmax trd offroad for what that is worth. I'm hoping to have it put on this Saturday or next at the latest.

I was told by Hugo at Toytec that this lift is good for towing. Which i'm assuming is why they offer the leaf spring lift in the rear as an option and not just the blocks (like many others). He also told me they perform well for towing and are made to be more durable than the average. Mind you, he is in the sales business. But i discussed 3 other kits with him, 2 of them being more money and he simply gave me information on all, didn't push me one way or another.

I will admit, i was originally going to go with the Toytec/Eibach setup as it was a little cheaper and gave me another half inch lift in the front. However, it was on back-order. I was being impatient so I went with the next best, at the next price level.
