I know this question and topic has been discussed before about the 3rd Gen Tundra front Spoiler Issues. I know there are some very smart people on this site who can answer these questions or experienced this with their Tundras.
I own a 24 SR5 Tundra. Unfortunately, in May I hit 3 deer near the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Truck had to be towed to St. George Utah where it spent a month at the body shop being repaired.
A month later I drove the truck home to Phoenix. 6 hour mostly highway driving. While stopping in Las Vegas noticed a “thunk thunk” noise when coming to a stop light. Continued drive to Phoenix and noticed any time slowing under 30 mph, would get the “thunk” noises.
Next day called body shop and said take to a dealership in Phoenix. A local Toyota dealership in central Phoenix tried to pan it off as the new aftermarket shocks I had installed. I disagreed with that diagnosis. Stated looking online and the Spoiler Issue came up. Next day took it my local shop and they said it was the Spoiler. They disconnected it and I heard no noise. Screen said it was disconnected and it gave more confidence that this was the issue.
Per the request of my insurance company took it to another Toyota Dealership Collision Center. They evaluated it and claimed at first this was a normal noise like the electric running boards. I said that’s not it. Mine doesn’t have those installed. They tried to pan it off as a warranty part and I need to take it to service department at a Toyota Dealership.
Toyota Dealership evaluates it and says it a after issue. Felt liner on the wheel wells was cut wrong with the aftermarket wheels and tires and the new aftermarket shocks. I replied with a “No this didn’t happen before the wreck.”
I’m back at the second Toyota Dealership Collision shop in Phoenix. They are claiming again it’s a issue with the after market parts and the bad install by the shop in St. George. They claim it was the wheel well liner that is protruding in the spoiler causing the thunk thunk noise. I’m not buying it.
I know some have had dealerships warranty the system and there is a TSB about it. I’m curious what the
was there remedy? Was it the whole system replaced, or just the motor? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Lots of stuff!
CBI might have a spoiler delete module so you can remove the spoiler and plug the module into the harness and take care of the message on the screen.

Post some pics of the offending areas to help understand what is going on.

Put a GoPro under there and figure out exactly where noise is coming from

Parked in the driveway why don’t you have someone sit inside to extend and retract it for you and see for yourself? The spoiler linkage, motor or clutch could be damaged and making the clink sound (like you said)
