    Hello All:

I am a new member and I have a Tundra.

Purchase: Bought truck in January 2024 with 147, 000 miles with previous owners all from Maine.

Carfax Report showed regular basis motor oil changes and "chassis lubrication".

I intend to keep the truck stock, at stock height with most of the chrome and all. For now anyway.

    Repair and maintenance done

    1) Undercarriage coating: I had to clean some surface rust with wire brush, Krud Kutter and Simple Green cleaner. Then I coated undercarriage with Corroseal and sprayed undercarriage with Surface shield. Sprayed the oil inside the fenders, frames, tail gate, quarter panels.

    2) Bought Oil change Kit. No spill Drain hose kit. No spill filler cup/ funnel

    3) Bought and install Fumoto Valve for Engine oil drain

    4) Done all fluid changes at recommended intervals: Engine oil, Engine Coolant, Rear Differential, Front Differential, and Transfer cases fluids

    5) front brakes rotors and pads changed at 152,000mil

    5) Replaced all 8 Spark plugs with oem Denso 3421 at 160,000mil

    Mods/Enhancements Done

    1) Installed a driver's side grab handle

    2) RCI Skid plates for the Engine, Transmission, 38-Gal fuel and for the Catalytic Converters.

    3) Front and back seat Husky x-act floor mat protectors.

    4) Gator trifold Folding 6.5 ft soft bed Cover

    5) Relocated rear Differential Breather to spot near Driver side rear Light Assembly

Long time lurker and reader of the forums.

    Thanks.

    DrK.

    Welcome from South Central Tennessee!

Nice model and color listed in your profile.

What part of the country do you live?

Any plans for your truck, eg. What mods or maintenance are you planning, if any.

I live in Metro Atlanta, GA.

I will keep the truck mostly stock, for now.

I do most of the repairs and maintenance myself.

    Thanks.

Cool! You aren't too far from us Tennesseans, at least three of us live in the Chattanooga/Tullahoma area.
