    Hi all,
New here. Proud owner of 23 platinum. Did a lot of comparison shopping prior to purchasing and narrowed it down to f150 and Tundra. felt like the Tundra was best for me and am hoping that I can get the reliability out of the new tundra that the previous Tundra had. (Fingers crossed)I have had alot of trucks most recently had a 19 silverado rst and a 21 trailboss 6.2. Really loved both trucks however, 19 rst with 8 speed had transmission and other issues that Gm never fixed and the trailboss had the dreaded lifter issues and although taken care of under warranty I lost and could never get the comfort level back with that truck. Felt like I was gonna let me down again at anytime. Loved the 6.2 trailboss though minus the interior. Anyway, 1500 hundred miles in and so far so good. Only concerns so far as I find it hard to get used to the turning radius of this truck. I am not sure if better or worse than my silverados but feels a lot worse. The other issue I have is a mysterious rattle that I have spent many hours (moderate ocd)trying to track down and/or researching in forums. I have not found anything yet looking or reading. I also have some level of hearing loss that makes it harder to pinpoint. Anyway, Has anyone had a rattle that at times seems to be coming from the bottom back side of center console or possibly from the rear passenger side? It only happens when driving over small repeating multiple bumps such as we have on many county roads and roads that are chewed up by Amish buggies here in Northern Indiana? It is driving me crazy and I can not replicate when not driving or find anything loose rattling as I have been through every inch of the suspected area. At one point my wife was convinced it was the rear passenger side seatbelt rattling agains the plastic trim but no such luck! Thanks in advance for any suggestions and very sorry for the long intro post.

Ah man. Just go back and return the truck. I’m sure there’s buyers ready for used trucks with a bit of rattle.

Not sure how to take that. I think you missed the point where I said proud owner. I have no intentions of taking it back. I love this truck. Just came her looking for some suggestions or others experiences as this rattle is significant. Nothing that I won’t eventually solve though. Thanks for your valuable input lol.

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! Rattles like that drive me nuts. They are incredibly hard to locate and identify. Have you tried having someone ride in the back moving around to try to locate the source?
