    Hello all,
My Name is Michael.. Retired US Army Veteran.. First Owned a 1979 Ford F-150 4x4.. 2nd was retirement gift to myself brand new 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Lonestar edition (you guessed bought in texas)..lol... Completely totaled but truck did what it was supposed to do and saved my ex- wife life .. Now 3rd truck... 2016 Toyota Tundra SR5 Crewmax 4x4 TSS Offroad... I LOVE MY TOYOTA.. I am the 3rd owner.. In my posted picture I bought just like that.. Only upgrades I have done is LED headlights and foglights.. and some blue led in hood grill.. But I am here to find out information on how the best to take care of my toyota and tips and tricks.. like gun holster and maglight holder (top notch...) for I have a CCW in FL.. What is the best way to do things like lift kits and wheels and tires.. Things like that.. I follow a master mechanic toyota guy on YT and found out how to change transmission fluid and how often.. I have already in over 2 years put about 50,000 miles her.. since my daughter lives about 90 miles away and son and grandkids.. constantly driving back and forth.. but change oil and airfilter every 3000.. But since I have had her the mileage is up for a complete go thru of oil, trans, plugs, serpentine belt, and raditor flush and fill up. Just had brakes flushed when had bew brakes and rotors and tires put on.. So for the long intro.. But I am here ✋️ and just want to say hi.. and thank you all for any advice in future i ask for..

Hi, new Tundra owner here. Just got a ‘24 SR5 with TRD Sport and advanced tech pkg, not sure how sophisticated the tech is but it’s got tons of cameras, I always liked cameras but this is another level. Also likes the soft Tex seat. I have had most of the pick ups on the market except Tundra and Titans and GMC. This time I’ve chosen the Tundra for 1. I’ve become a Toyota fanboy since I had a LX570 (it was a high bar set I know), followed by Tacoma and 4runner. All were solid like a rock 2. I enjoy the solid steering feedback and predictable stock suspension and transmission, than the newer Ford. However, the reason I never got a 2nd gen was just the interior build quality, every test drive reveals some crappy quality issues (loose pedal, peeled center console cover, wobbly door trim, and bad sound system). But one thing I’ve always liked the Tundra is lack of rust! The frame takes four years to develop rust, the body never! Anyway, F150 is history for me due to the cylinder de-activation and bad tranny, Ram is soft steering and over detrimental issues, and fender well rust, GM is loss of power steering, cylinder deactivation, and frame rust. The new Tundra has way too much thin plastics but it is what it is, so far there’s no rattle or squeeze. I am very happy about the steering, braking, and power delivery. At very low speed, there’s a little lag, reminds me of 3rd gen Taco, but I don’t think it’s due a problem.
