New to me 2007 tundra double cab long bed 4x4 SR5 5.7 here in southern Indiana. I've been a member of the 4runner forums for years and gotten great information sharing through it, so I've come here to learn things about the 2nd gen tundra platform too.

First question if anyones watching, what's this electrical connector here go to? I've found the electrical diagram pdf but it doesn't show general component location to identify connector number. This is located on the passenger side of the engine bay close to the firewall with a plastic cover over it. For some reason I have a power jumper ran across my engine bay to the pin with the black wire on the connector circled and trying to figure out why.

Welcome from Qatar. I don't live here, I'm stuck here. I don't have any input for your question, maybe some will float some options.

Very welcoming crew here! No answer to my electrical question found yet but last night I started in on the deep detail of this "clean one owner" truck! I did make $5 in change, mostly from inside the passenger rear footwell vent ducting.

Cabin air filter was straight up missing, so I added one of those. Also found it has a K&N filter already while I did carbon filter delete and started swapping in some spare interior LED's I had laying around but ran out. Floor liners and window vents show up today. Still need to install dash ram mount. AIP bypass and 2018 take off suspension show up Friday. Then diff and oil change and she's done!

    Not many yet, mostly stock.
On that wire issue, I'd get out a 12 volt light circuit tester, hook the clip end to ground and probe that wire. See if that wire is hot with ignition key switch on/ off. Hot with battery only, key off. ? Mabey look for something aftermarket installed on the truck? Follow the wire / wires, tract it down to see where it/they goes. That plug, next to the tie rap, looks like some wire was there? Typically if its a blank you wont see something in that hole. Did the wire next to it brake off and the old owner did what he needed to make things work. Contact the old owner and ask questions if he knew anything about it.? Aftermarket lights, trailer brake module installed? I'm just guessing at this point. Good luck. Welcome aboard too.
