    Looking to buy.
Hello, my name is Keith and I am interested in learning about the Tundra. I currently do not own one but am interested in purchasing one. The truck I currently own is a 1990 Mazda b2600i. It has 230000 almost trouble free miles her. She is part of the family and served me well. As I now find myself getting close to retirement and also have grand children, I need a truck that is safe ,reliable, not full of bells and whistles I will never use, has 4 doors, and can easily tow a car trailer or camper without breaking a sweat. I joined the Corvette forum back in 2000 and have found their willingness to help and expertise enormously helpful over the years and am now in a position to help others. I hoping this forum will be a new forum home for me!

I would suggest that after you learn all there is that satisfies your questions, look hard for the best deal. The market is currently crazy and the price of these trucks are brutally high. Buying in Canada and shipping the truck down south would be a great way to save money as the American dollar is worth 1.20 Canadian. This is a great way to compensate for the mark ups.

Welcome Keith! You'll find this forum is very active and full of knowledge as well. I would hold off on your purchase as truck prices are high right now. Hopefully things will cool off in the next year and you can make your purchase without paying the premium. Tundra is a great choice for your needs!
