    Hey guys,

Thanks for having me. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what size the spacers are on the inner and outer lower mount of the Fox 2.5 Extended travel shocks. I bought mine used and they didn't come with these spacers and I can't find the sizes anywhere? Please help, installing everything in my bio this coming saturday! Thanks!!

Literally just installed these coilovers yesterday.. didn’t measure them though. The one that goes towards the front of the truck is about double the width as the other one. If you look at your bottom shock mount you will see there is a lip that you have to get the shock to miss.. just went and took these photos

sorry I can’t get you exact specs. If you had posted this yesterday I would have been able to measure them :annoyed:

So I found one rolling around in the box. Seems to measure exactly 1/4". So I guess I need 1/4" for short and 1/2" for long? Also, just went out to install 2.0 resi's on the rear for fun, and it looks like im missing spacers there too.:( So much slop on the bottom hanger, going to have to do some research there.

Whatcha talking about Billy?! You know rear shocks don’t give any lift

I don’t think the rears have any spacers. Can you post a pic of what the rear eyelets look like? Should just be the bearing that has a built in misalignment spacer.

Rgr that Willy. But it was sloppy between the hangar mount and the eye of shock, left to right.

you sure those are for the Tundra? I haven’t seen a set of rear shocks with the main body being the eyelet those would be “inverted” from all the other shocks I have seen.. I could be wrong but that would be my guess on the eyelet being off

Well, they came off a tundra lol. Now you have me wondering. It would suck if the were wrong, I sent them to fox and had them rebuilt hahaha.

I know the cradle the rear shock mounts in is rather pliable. If you tighten that bolt you could pull those together a little bit if you think they might be spread out more than normal..

I would agree! Can you measure the total extended length so we can verify they are meant for the Tundra?

Also, now I am curious what your front coilovers look like?

So these shocks aren't brand new. Maybe 3-4 years old. Rears measure 28.5" overall length and fronts measure 26.5"

It looks like both shocks measure 25.5" based on the diagram. Im not sure I have it exactly right on the rears

so the extended travel fox 2.5s should be just over 25.5”.

and the rears should be about 24.8” extended...

    the front look right though

perfect the front definitely look right. But the rears seem a little longer than the Fox 2.0s that I can find for sale.. not a big enough length difference though, so should work if you had them rebuilt and Spec’d to the Tundra.. just needs to figure out that misalignment issue

I found my caliper. There is 80 thousandths of play between shock and mount on rear.

Have you tried bolting it up? I’d be curious if you tightened that bolt up if you could get rid of the slack.. otherwise it sounds like you will need some kind of spacer/washer

Talked with Fox the 2.5 lower mount spacers are part numbers:
    213-18-010-A
    213-18-011-A

The correct sleeve for the rear shocks is:
    213-27-003-B

    Ordered these all from KarTech.com

    Thanks!

The shock doesnt lift. This particular shock is good for a 0-1" lift which comes from either a block, shackle or leaf spring.

Soooo frustrated with Fox, mounted up rebuilt front 2.5's last night on both sides. Came back around to hang remote resins, and for whatever reason when they rebuilt they added a 90 degree hydraulic fitting at the reservoir, rendering the resi brackets unless. While trying to figure out what I can fab to make them work, I look over and there is freaking oil dripping out of the resi fittings where it connects to the body. Ahhh! So I grab some wrenches and think maybe I'll just tighten it up a bit, no biggie right! Every fitting was loose! When I grabbed the resi it spun over in my hand. Sigh... what would yall do?
