New member, about to buy 2018 Quicksand

Hi all,
I'm currently planning on driving 11 hours on Friday to pick up this 2018 Double Cab Quicksand with 40k miles. Looks in pretty good shape, probably gonna do a chrome delete asap though.
Any thoughts?

 

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! What are those extra wires on the battery? I would verify that whatever was added was installed properly and did not create a failure point. Beyond that, it looks great! 40k miles on a nearly 7 year old truck?!? Sweet!

 

Dealer said the extra wires on the battery are either their anti-theft/tracking system (which they will be removing for me before purchase) or for the lightbar mounted in the lower bumper (which I'm fine with keeping or redoing myself.)

Truck looks good at this angle and that is really low mileage for its age! Nice find!

If you dont know where it came from, I would look under it for rusting.

 

According to Carfax, its been a central Texas truck its whole life. I'm certainly prepared to drive 5 hrs back if I find something like that wrong.

 

Welcome from VA, truck looks good. My 2017 only has 37k. Whatever you’re paying for it, prepare to spend more because of this forum. Easy to spend on mods when you’re not spending on repairs.

TSS is a Southern regional package (trim, wheels, stickers, etc)

Truck and bookmarks look good, but do inspect EVERYTHING under the truck to give extra peace of mind.
