Hi all, I bought a 2003 V6 with 223xxx in November from a friend for what seemed like a pretty sweet deal. This site has given me a ton of valuable advice and ideas! Thanks for being a great resource. Here's what I've done so far and some pics with my camper. Cheers from Western CO

    • rear diff breather tube
    • aftermarket stereo with bluetooth
    • 3M headlight de-fog kit
    • my mechanic did: new drums & rotors, brakes, front u-joints, replaced all fluids, new parking brake cable
    • ran power to the bed for camper
    • eye bolts in the bed for camper
    • firestone air bags
    • new fuel filter
    • new trailer harness
    • balanced tires, had an alignment done, and upper ball joints
Next will be timing belt / water pump. Someday I'll put bilstein 5100s on. Love this truck! Totally addicted to the forum!

Truck looks good! Welcome to the forum. Hope you cleared that snow off the top before you hit the road :D

Tires look meaty meaty, I like that with the triple splits - those 16" off a Tacoma? I know that's an OEM style, just can't recall if it was 4R or Taco that carried them, I have Taco in my brain.

Welcome. I'd add a radiator, cap (OEM) and thermo (orient towards 6oclock not 12 as most), all to avoid the 'pink milkshake' in your tranny. Speaking of, a drain/fill on that once in a while with valvoline full synth import (blue bottle) will do it Wonders. Luck.
