2024 tundra 1794 Mesquite

I've got a 1794 tundra and thinking about giving it a little lift. I would like to keep the rake to it, maybe only an inch or 2. Nothing terrible. I heard spacers are not good for the ball joints. Just curious what some of you guys recommend? Thanks for the help.
