Ok so this summer I put a new set of OME leave packs on the old girl I am using the factory shackles the height was right where I wanted it to be and life was good !!!! Till this morning I had a heat shield come loose so I climbed under it to fix that, and noticed that my right side leaf is almost actually reversed arching WTF all that money for them and it does this. Or is this normal?the drivers side doesn’t look as bad it’s just pretty much flat any input would be great A83E32FE-388B-483E-A9AF-F8C464732B82.jpg

I say it’s pretty common. Our leaf packs are so long that they look flat. For the most part they hold height well. Just don’t do good with weight loads in the bed. A lot of weight towards the rear will make em look like they frown.

I have no experience with ome.
This is my BRAND NEW rxt pack. Right out of my garage.(I have full size 35+rim and full size bamf rack for weight reference)

This is with and extra 200lbs-ish on top of all that

    Are you on stock shackles?

yes stock shackles only thing that concerns me is the other side is no where near as "frowned" and it is actually lower on the Passenger side compared to the drivers

When you looked at it were you on leveled surface?
The picture you posted looks like it still has a good arch to it.

It was in my shop level
I will have to get a pic of the other side so you can see the difference and no offense but you think that has a good arch ? Lol

Zoom in on that and look behind the wheel right above the exhaust it’s arched down then flattens and almost reverse arch’s at the rear end

Do you have anything in the bed? My stock leafs lived on the overload, and now I have the Icon expansion pack and they’re the same way. I always thought the OME leaf springs were made to hold weight better. Might be worth giving them a call about, or taking them to a spring shop to rear arch them.

I googled some images of the OME pack and I saw a few pics that looked similar to yours, I’d definitely send a email or call OME and see what they say. Might be nothing but it’s always hard to tell from pics.

It does look a bit flat but man those PA winters are rough on the undercarriage

I still have to climb under and snap a pic of the drivers side
I guess I will send OME an email and see what they say if it were both sides I wouldn’t be to concerned and if they were at least over a year old to

So, I did the same thing as you a few months back but added a leaf at the same time, and mine were looking similar. Almost looks like my snowboard; rocker, camber, rocker. My new pack is a little better but certainly flat. Toyota uses a long and weak spring that flattens quite easily. That’s why you see so many of us discussing custom packs, expedition packs, and all sorts of ways to support better.

I’m also just like you, a little concerned when something doesn’t look quite right....I would even consider muself paranoid about things until @dcsleeper408 and @joonbug tell me to shut the F up and quit whining
