New issue - tow mirror malfunction

Anyone had this issue? Last 2 times I started my truck it does this. I’ve seen others have them freeze and not open - I haven’t had that issue at all. It happens whether I have auto folding engaged or not.

 

Is it folding out past the normal position?

 

Yes exactly! Why would it ever need to even do that??

Just jokin! That’s definitely an odd one. I wonder if there is an end switch built into the actuator that is supposed to cut power at X position that isn’t working.

 

A trip to your dealer is in order. Show them your pics.......or better yet...drive to the dealer with them like that. Drive carefully!
