Finally had a day of good weather and no other commitments, so tackled the install after watching a couple of videos.

I changed the oil at the same time, but it still took me six hours to complete.

Overall, I'm happy with the look, but the install was a pain. I was going to re-use the factory fog lights, but getting them to work might be too much.

Finding aftermarket lights that plug right into the factory wiring harness would be awesome.

I really like the simple look of that bumper.

That looks really good and I also like the simplistic design. I feel your pain on the install...TBD on doing one on the Tundra but I did install one when I owned an FJ and it was a bitch. Cutting plastic and all sorts of stuff.

I like the look of this bumper. The only thing holding me back from ordering is the silver screws on the top plating and the green hulk looking sticker on the front. What kind of screws are they? Could they be easily swapped with black ones? Is there an indentation where the sticker goes? If so, wondering how I would black it out.

    I know, I know, I’m super picky…

Picture from @TRDFerguson who installed one as well recently. Looks like there is a small indentation behind the sticker location as seen in his picture. He may be able to comment on the screws as well.

Yeah there’s an indent with 2 holes where the Ironman sticker is. I covered it with the tri color badge I originally had on my grille, but one could easily fill and paint to match.
    IMG_3705.jpg

As far as the bolts, there’s no reason you couldn’t swap them out with any other M6 bolt/nut combo. I’m planning on doing that at some point, just haven’t gotten that far yet.

Thanks for the picture. Looks sweet! I was already thinking of putting something in place of that Ironman sticker. If it wasn’t green I wouldn’t care. Quicksand with a hulk green sticker would look terrible.

I just ordered mine two weeks ago and they had a free lights promo! Got all these for free. Ironman is badass, I just need to install now but it’ll probably be another week or two.

I swapped to 1/4-20 hardware because of another project I was doing and had to buy a freakin 50 pack. You can find the same thing in M6 and reuse your flange nuts though.
