    Long time lurker, first time posting. I have been reading posts here for a few months, and I finally took delivery of my 2018 Tundra CM last month.

    I'm almost to 1000 miles and I'm loving the truck so far. It's the first Toyota that I have owned (my wife has a 2017 Highlander which has been a fantastic car so far). I optioned the Tundra and ordered it but my company pays for the lease, so I probably won't be doing much modification until I decide to buy it in three years. So far I have only painted the exhaust black using the ceramic header paint, per a post I found here.

    I'm also new to DFW as of May 2018. I spent the rest working in automotive back in Michigan. I worked as a dealer technician, and teacher before transitioning to work for OEMs and a supplier, so I know my way around a car if you (y'all ?) have questions on that front.

    Scuffed with a few grades of wet/dry sandpaper and cleaned up before primer and paint. I painted the pipes visible behind the axle and in the wheel well black also, but I didn't paint it all the way to the catalyst.

    Lol yeah I had to do the detailing on it myself the day after I got it, the place I got it doesn't do that I guess.

    Nice! Love the color and what you have done with the exhaust. Does the TRD exhaust have a lower note, or is that just an exhaust tip?

    Does it fit in your garage? I park mine in a 10X20' enclosure and I have to fold the mirrors in and spit on it to make it fit.

    It's the TRD dual exhaust so it comes with the chrome tips. I sanded them before I primed and painted. I have seen more than a few complaints about the TRD exhaust showing rust spots in a very short time.
