    Hello all,

    Just joined up. Coming from 4Runner and Tacoma world, this is my first Tundra. I have the opportunity to pick up an 06 Crew Cab V8 4x2 in X-SP trim with 130k. Bottom looks really clean, no rust. Body is in good shape, interior needs some cleaning and fix up work. Not sure about WP/TB at this time. I am assuming that it hasn't been changed, so that would be my first chore. I wasn't able to get it on a lift, but did crawl under it as far as I could. I "think" I am seeing fresh oil in the rear seal area. I couldn't really tell or couldn't reach it (I was lying in a puddle in a church parking lot during the test drive). Also notice a tick (lifter maybe) when the engine has heated up. Current owner wants $7500 for it, (he's a refurber/mechanic). It is on a rebuilt title, but wasn't wrecked, just hit in the back bumper, that the owner pulled out and straightened up. He has agreed to provide the labor on the WP/TB change if I buy the kit. I don't see any type of body work or frame issues. I'm picking it up tomorrow to have it checked out by my mechanic. If there is no leak, I think I can get him down to $7000. Thoughts, or is there anything else I need to look at? TIA!
