If I remove the grill to change out my headlights will I have to have the cruise control sensor recalibrated or will it even impact the sensor at all? I don't want to screw something up. Thanks for the help.

No. Just unplug the sensor at the plug right under the cover and pop the whole front assembly off. I’ve done it more times than I can count. No issues.

Awesome. Hoping to get it knocked out this week then.

Question for those with the new LED highlights. How many years or hours should we expect from the bulbs in these headlights? I own a 2019 with 29,000 miles.

These headlights have been out since late 2017 and I’ve yet to see a failure on one. I wouldn’t worry about it.

My halogens have about 15 miles on them and have been sitting in storage since. I bet they still work. :D

Got the bulbs in this evening and they make a world of difference. I also went ahead and added LED reverse lights

What bulbs did you use? My 2021 SR5 SX's headlights are criminally bad. I was genuinely shocked at the weakness of these halogens. I feel like I'm out-driving the lights at 40 mph. They're really bad.

I may leave mine alone for now as I've found the issue. As we used to say in the service department of the dealership waaaaay back when, "the cause of the issue was a loose nut behind the wheel." Turns out that my Tundra has a nifty little dial down to the left of the steering column and by turning said dial, one is able to raise and lower the aim of the headlights. Also turns out that said headlights work much better if they are not pointed almost straight at the ground. Who knew? Anyway, it was on #5 which would be great if the rear of the vehicle was loaded to the point of maxing out; not so great when it's empty.

I still wish they were brighter and LED but this is probably going to be a bit better now that they're pointed in the proper direction.

    As you were gentlemen...
