So I pulled the trigger on a Kenwood DMX4707s for my 2011. It bone stoke (non-JBL). I am keeping the stock speakers for now as I research what speakers I can put in with minimal effort. I am not a wire guy at all, so looking for some plug and play speakers. The head unit is being installed at a shop.

Question I have (yes, I did use the search function lol) is anyone running the Kenwood DMX4707s in their truck and how do they like it. Looking at reviews on multiple sites, it seems to be a pretty good head unit with little issues, except for the Firmware updates (process has since been resolved).

Also, without breaking the bank ($100 to $200 budget) is there any good speakers that are able to be just plug to the existing wire set up, that are good. Not a overly audiophile type, but like good sound.

    Thanks in advance.

    Alot of them
For speakers, see if you can get Focals through one of your local shops. They have been rated pretty descent for plug and play in the Tundras and 4Runners.

Edit....just did a quick search. Crutchfield has them.

I was just in Crutchfield and I did not see them in there. I will have to look again. Only ones that showed up under the vehicle search was Powerbass OE692-TY. Once I get a moment will do another search. I have heard that they are pretty good.
