New guy with 1st Toyota

Thanks for the add! I have been waiting for the perfect deal on a Tundra for a couple of years and finally bit the bullet. I purchased a 2013 Tundra Platinum for a pretty good price and it only had 113k on it. 3 things that I need to address right away though. 2013s didn't come with a brake controller an I'd really like one that fit into center dash for aesthetics. The other issues are probably relate, smokes (blue, oil) at start up if it sits for a couple of hours and then if you really get on it on the highway. My thoughts were bad valve seals since it doesn't seem to burn oil during normal operation, I wouldn't think it would be rings. Anyone else have this with their 5.7? I tried searching threads and couldn't find anything.

I like my RedArc tow pro elite in my ‘16 Tacoma. They have Toyota tall and small blanks for the knob. There is a guy who makes a bracket for the Taco on TW that helps with mounting the unit or you can always zip tie it. Nice quality unit and a super clean look.

If you have a blank in the dash, get the Redarc kit with Toyota harness and blank switch plug:
