    Hello all,

I am new here at this forum and love all the posts.

I have had my green 2000 Tundra since 2002. That's right 2nd owner but have had it most of its whole life. I believe I bought it with about 30-40 K on it. I think It just rolled over 130K the other day. I was working overseas so I didn't drive it too much and had the wife start it on occasion or take it to the store when she remembered to do it. Anyway, I love the truck and have to say it has not been giving me much trouble other than a new battery about 3 times, starter replaced, brakes done twice and of course oil and filters on schedule. She is probably due for a new paint job as I have been living in Nevada for about the last 5 years and just recently moved to Texas. The paint is starting to peel and its looking a bit rough.

I am a 59 year old airline pilot who likes to tinker and love to do maintenance on my Vehicles. I own a Porsche Cayman, 2001 Volvo S40, and a 2014 Chevy Tahoe which I do most of the maintenance on other than the Cayman. I enjoy the thought process involved with making things work and trying new things to make it better. I hope that this site will be a good resource for that process. I hope that I may be able to help others as well. Thanks for allowing me to enter this group. I am looking forward to getting involved.
