    Hey all,

New member here from Maryland. I purchased a '14 1794 edition in Barcelona Red about 5 weeks back. Love the truck so far. I have started customizing it starting with what felt like the last TRD supercharger on the face of the planet + Borla dual rear-facing exhausts. I've also added the TRD sway bar and full TRD racing suspension (lowered the truck a little). 2018 LED headlights, Wheels/tires, TRD Pro grille + color-matched bumpers, and Black Horse running boards are on their way. I've removed and painted my 1794 Edition emblem to better match the de-chroming that is going on (profile pic). I will post pictures of before and after the project very soon...

    *** Update (10/7/2017) ***

It's finally done (for now). Here are some pics as promised

Cheers. I had two options: buy a brand new boring one or a used truck and dump every penny I have left into it to make it interesting. Guess which option I chose? :der:

Welcome from sunny Las Vegas. Wow!! How I’d like to be able to do all that at once but my better half is a lot more conservative than I. Can’t wait to see pics!

lol I knew it was a mistake posting the intro prematurely... I promise, pictures of everything on it coming this weekend (minus the '18 headlights). For now, here is a teaser of the custom TRD decal I created. It was a pain replicating the official TRD font but it turned out really well if I may say so myself :woot:

Man, I did not know a truck this size could push you into the seat so hard when you floor it. Absolutely love it. Worth ever dollar IMO. Wish Toyota still made them. I would have loved a 2018 with a Toyota warranted supercharger but this will more than do for now.

Welcome from CO! Did you buy the TRD SC directly from Toyota?

    Thanks all.

@Sean266, yes I did. I looked high and low for one and got a tip from a buddy of mine who works for Lexus that a dealership in Florida had been sitting on one last unit. Jumped on it.

Oh, I thought that's what he was referring to. Maybe I got it wrong. It is a fine looking SC decal.

Pursued from a vendor who purchased from Toyota of Dallas (invoice to show)
I had Toyota install it (also invoice to prove)

1.5 years later (10k on SC)- barrings and nose cone screwed. I was on my own because it wasn’t a direct purchase from Toyota.
This was all after Toyota tech approved the warranty work after “no signs of abuse noted” and they ordered the parts..

That is not good. Sorry to hear man. I really hope mine doesn't crap out. Not sure if they even have parts available for them anymore. But the good thing is that I was able to retain my CPO with the purchase and installation.

They have to retain parts. I learned that too :)

At the end, I said screw it and paid for the removal so I don’t snd up in the same boat down the road, again.
