New from upstate NY

Hi all - I have been trolling the tundra forum since early August, a time when I decided it is time to pull the trigger and venture away from the Toyota sedan/suv world and enter into the real world of Tundra. I have been diligently following the Tundra digital concepts to spy photos to introduction as the timeline progressed to reality. In late August, I concluded the time had come to say thank you to Toyota for providing me the most reliable and trouble free vehicles since 1992 (my first camry) and pull the trigger on a Tundra. In late August my Fiancé and I worked with her guy (Marty Rosen) who has always been rock solid for her since 2008 and full of integrity wanting an SR5 TRD Off Road. He was able to work his magic and guarantee us the exact truck I wanted, color and all, which would start the build on 9/8/22. Ahead of schedule, we received the call on Wednesday that the truck made it to the dealership on 9/28/22 at Northway Toyota. Naturally, I went to the dealership to confirm and see my black beauty the day it arrived and scheduled pickup for today. Upon pickup the transition was the smoothest I have ever experienced and I am the proud new owner of an amazing truck. Since driving off the lot I drove it home, drove back up the same area to drop my lovely, now bride, off for a tennis match, drove back home to admire and love life, and then pick my new bride up from tennis, have a nice dinner out to return home....I already have 120 on the odometer. She is also a vehicle aficionado, she traded in her pristine 2011 FJ cruiser (for a very good market price) and we literally spent the next two hours in the garage, cocktails in hand, appreciating the beauty of our new family member. Life doesn't get any better than September of 2022. At age 49, I married the woman of my dreams and bought the vehicle I feel I have always deserved. I'm excited to be part of the Tundra world......this is the good life. Hello October....

Congrats ! What Year Tundra ? ..guessing 2021 if it only has 120 miles or was it 120k ?

 

It is a new 2022 with 120 miles on it. Just finishing my morning coffe and about to take it for a drive on some country roads to continue the break in.
