Greetings All, Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to join this wonderful community. I purchased a 2002 Tundra Access Cab SR5 2WD in early March 2024 after my lovely son totaled my '96 T-100 long bed (a great vehicle IMHO). This white Tundra is an example of the truck I've wanted for the last 23 years, so the story has a happy ending. I bought this tundra with 179,000 miles on the clock. Its was a one owner, who commuted 90 miles a day for 20+ years. For reasons unknown, the P.O. replaced the transmission @ 150,000 miles. I have detailed the truck, clayed the body, and ceramic coated the light lenses and the vinyl trim. All is good except for the front passenger window: will not roll up, so i have it locked close. I've addressed a leak at the 3rd brake light with a new gasket, and I've addressed a leak at the rear window slider with an injection of very viscous silicon lubricant with a syringe & needle large enough to pack with the thick 0-ring lube, but thin enough to push that needle in-between the vinyl molding and the cab. After one "atmospheric river" I've got dry carpet under the rear flip-up seat. I'm hoping these are permanent solutions. Thank you again for giving me the opportunity to share my new avocation. :^) Photos attached. 6DC8ED4A-8AF7-4E59-98B2-3A758D4F819E.jpg

Thank you all for your kindness. It means very much to me. :^) California Bay Area vehicle, thus clean and rust free .I've drained, examined and replaced the transmission fluid lately, I'm saving up money for a timing belt replacement, front end alignment and ball joints. I've replaced filters and pvc valve. Brakes are very good IMHO. Hoping to get caught up in deferred maintenance by mid summer. This forum has been a super source of information, opinion and procedure for me. I am so very thankful for this blessing. :^)

Thank you so much! I grew up on weekends at my Grandpappy's farm in Anniston in the '70's. Made a lot of Loblolly pine/cresote fence posts & installed a lot of barbed wire. Learned to drive his John Deer and bush hog the brambles. :^)

Yes Sir, thank you for the push! I will have the work done as soon as Winter wanes: I'll be able to commute into SF with my CB450 while the Tundra is in the shop—
