    If the rumors are true, it makes me wonder if Toyota will twin-turbo one of the versions of the old 2GR (circa 2004) used in Lexus, Avalon, Highlander, Previa etc, or design a new modern 3.5L engine from scratch? The 2GR-FSE has already been sold in supercharged versions (forced induction stresses), and the 2GR-FXE comes in the Atkinson Cycle used in hybrid vehicles.
