Been using the deluxe seat saver from duluth trading co.

Just got it a few weeks ago but it seems to do pretty good.

could you put up the single seat and make a padding for the pup to lay on?

That is probably my best option for now. I was thinking of maybe a folded balanket placed in the low spot to even out the floor, giving the dog a level spot to sit/lay.

Duluth is good stuff I think and that seat protector looks awesome but I don't have a dog but the only shirts I wear are the Duluth long tails and most recently the long tail cool max.

Welcome from eastern CO! I use a no name cover from Wally World, it's a canvas type material but doesn't cover the space in between the seats. Good lookin dog btw!

I am in the market for back seat protection, as we are on the hunt for a new traveling buddy. Because we are looking at a larger breed I am also interested in some sort of platform so he cannot fall to the floor and have sure footing. When I had my Tacoma I built a platform. Might need to do the same here.

    did find this on Amazon

My only problem with the back seat covers is it doesn't protect the door from doggies nails T^T and i keep my pups nails clipped but i wouldnt want them scratching up the door...

Well this all arrived from Amazon today I will post how it all works after some testing.

    IMG_0793.jpg
pic 1 not sure how I will like this but will give it a try
    IMG_0794.jpg
Pic 2 shows a bridge that folds up and keeps the pup from falling to the floor and provides surer footing
    IMG_0796.jpg
In the last pic you can either leave the side flaps down or they zip up to further protect the doors.

it also has seat belt slits to feed a strap to attach the the seat belt and the pup

I have always wondered why there weren't some kind of inflatable floor board fillers to flatten out the backseat area. Thinking that something that inflates would be ideal for someone that doesnt need the filler long term. It turns out they do exist. Like this one - https://www.chewy.com/petego-car-seat-extender-inflatable/dp/134634

This one seems pricey to me.. but filling up the floorboard together with the hammock style covers would make for a very nice platform for the furry friends.

This bridge works great and leaves the floor area underneath for storage. See post #26 for the complete set up

Nice truck! Adorable dog. :) I love the custom fitted covers from Coverking: http://www.autoanything.com/seat-covers/61A7669A0A0.aspx

I use those to protect my seats from wet dogs and dirt. They wash really well. I also made a wood platform with two folding legs underneath to go over the seats. Used thick foam to level the wood and then covered the wood with carpet for comfort. But if you got one of the bridges, that may not even be needed. Either way, this leaves space underneath the platform for storage. I prop a metal pet barrier behind the front seats for safety, just in case, during longer rides. For shorter rides, I remove that and my little monsters try to ride on the console...which is why I have a cover for that too.

Sorry for no photos, the platform that was taken out old truck doesn't quite fit right with the way the seats fold up now.

can you provide a name or link to this. I have tried a ton of seat covers, even made my own, and my biggest complaint is they're not wide enough and when my dog jumps in he moved the thing over so the sides of my seats are still dirty. I like the fold downs on that. Also, is it easy to remove? I would need/want to easily town it off if I need to put someone back there. Don't want someone to sit in the hairy wet mud my dog leaves.

this is another safe option....although most of the time our dog is in this kennel in our Sienna I have used it in the back of a truck and she was fine with it
