Hello everyone. Just bought a 2017 1794 Edition with 20" wheels. The truck sits lower than the 2013 Platinum I used to have. I have been reading many different forums in regards to "lifting". I don't need nor want monster truck clearance. I drive many rough paths gettting to a fresh steelhead run or many corn fields hunting for deer. I want to get 3" of clearance but I want to maintain the ride and overall mechanics of the truck. I want to be able to drink my coffee, not wear it. From what I have read spacers should be avoided. I am leaning towards coilovers, I think. I called my local Toyota dealer and was told there is nothing available. Find that hard to believe. I just want to achieve the clearance my old platinum had without compromising the factory parts. I believe you get what you pay for, so I am not really concerned about price to a point. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I put an Eibach suspension on and it’s rides much better than factory. I’d never pay for a suspension that was worse ride than factory. The goal is to improve things not go backwards.

Welcome from NC! I would recommend Billstein 5100s. That’s what I used and love them….

Maybe they put smaller sized tires on it?
