New 1794 LE

I just grabbed a mesquite brown LE and I should be picking it up this week! I decided to have tires (all 5) swapped out to wildpeak AT4s in 285/60/20. The dealer says he’s not sure if the spare will completely fit in the well. Does anyone know if this will be a problem? I’d think they’d leave plenty of room but the parts guy didn’t know…

 

What’s the diameter? I will slide under and look

I put a 295/60/R20 as my spare and it was tight but fits fine. I didn't have to cut anything out.

Which cover model is that? It looks like the HD/SE but where are the handles to open the sections?

I answered my own question! Went to DB site and found the "Switchback".

Looks interesting! I wonder if that design would support my Uptop rack as it mounts to the perimeter cleats?

 

This is the first LE 1794 I’ve seen in smoked mesquite. Man that thing looks great! Wish Toyota would have offered it with a long bed, I might have held out for that. Welcome to the smoked mesquite club! Since owning mine I have only seen one other one on the road. Underrated color and very rare to see.

 

Yes, it's a switch back. I recall it will support 400#. I did add the L Tracks to the sides as from DB there are no attachment points.

My Ram croaked... Just stumbled on this one in transit and no one had claimed it!

 

Just looked at one today in Farmville VA , looks just like it. The dealership needs to quit adding dealer add ons. It is good looking trucks but already needs a few things fixed. The trim on passenger side is half below the rest. Paint chips allover the front which they installed paint protection over without fixing any of the chips. It is still a beautiful truck.

 

Just picked the beauty up, had a 23 Platinum and traded it for this. Leather smells good and all the little extras. Need to put on my tonneau cover, exhaust, skid plates, Cold Air Intake, took them off the 23.

 

Nice. I'm looking for the tailgate lettering stamp overlay in black. I want to black that stamp out to make it stand out some more. Anyone know where I can get one. I assume it will be rare since there are only 1500 of these. Perhaps a custom shop that might be able to make one?

 

If you find it, post where. I’d be interested in this too. It would look awesome on the mesquite.

Any way to remove the buckle thing behind the front seats? I love the truck but that part is just too cowboy for me.

 

@machd08 - would you please post more pics of your LE? Interior/Exterior shots of whatever you can. My local dealer has 1 coming in the same color and I love to see more REAL pics of it before I buy sight unseen.

I test drove a Platty but not too keen with the ride. Hopefully the LE will ride better. Can you comment on that?

What front skid plate does it come with, is it the TRD aluminum skid? Could you get me a pic? Haven't picked mine up yet to look.

Get the one from Talons Garage, if you plan on lifting it, let them know, the front skid plate is a little different from the non lifted.
