need to know which wires to tap into for my 4 pin tow plug

i have a 2000 tundra v6 not a 2wd power everything else. i obtained a landscaping trailer that had jacked up wiring. so i harbor freighted it and got the light kit with the 4 pin. i installed all the lights and tested them, no priblem. now i have to figure out where to tap into on the back because there is no to package electrical hookups. i did unplug the drivers side light assembly and found the brake and the blinker with my volt meter. but i just get brain freeze when i go to hook it up as i am too poor to afford a kit with an adapter plug. so i am trying to diy it but i dont want to waste a crap ton of time. so i have four wires on the trailer. green brown yellow white.
the white is ground. the brown goes to the lights and running lights on the trailer. yellow is right turn and brake, green is left turn and brake. so at the truck, where do i place these guys? i found the blinker and the brake. green to blinker? brown to brake? for the left side. right side yellow to blinker and brown to brake? that leaves me wondering about the running lights... or is that all i need? just tie in to those two wires in each side and im golden? it seems to me that if i put my green to my blinker, then it will only blink because the brake is a different wire. then my brake would be my running lights? im super confused and i doint have cash for an adapter. any ideas besides an adapter? there has got to be a way i would think...
