    Hello all,

I am currently in the market for some sweet LED rear turn signal upgrade. I know it is the 921 blub. However I cannot find any info if I need a resistor or not. I prefer not to splice into the wiring as my wires are already fairly exposed. I see many generic LED 921 bulbs on Amazon and I am not sure if it will cause hyper flashing. Has anyone here upgraded their rear turn signal? What brand did you use and does it have a built in resistor?

I used @Headlight Revolution for all of my LED upgrades. And yes their turn signals use a resistor that comes with the bulbs.

Nice! Can you do me a solid and find either the link or part number? I just looked at their website and there is a shit ton of them. Many don't include the resistor which is weird.

    Alot of them
You will have to wire in a resistor. Vleds is working on a Triton system for them but it will be a couple of months. I spoke to them yesterday. They are also testing and designing another product that will be pretty sweet once done.

Just tap in a resistor. Nothing needs to be cut. Use electrical tape pulled tight and wire loom and moisture will never be an issue.

    Heat shrink works well too.

Heat shrink won’t work when you’re just cutting back insulation to solder in the resistor wire and you’re not actually cutting the main wire. Unless you pull the pins out the connector and can manage to slip a piece over the end of it to slide over the solder connection.
