Looking for others that have problems with the 3rd Gen automatic HVAC. My 2018 has a mind of it's own. You cannot control the temp and the system does not regulate the air temp coming out of the vents. One example: when set on defrost and feet mode at 70 degrees, the air temp coming out the vent climbs to 125 degrees and after an hour of driving it might drop to 110 degrees. Similar problem when you dial down the temp to 60 degrees. The temperature of the air coming out of the vents dropped to 43 degrees. The outside ambient temperature was 46 degrees.

    Thanks, Greg

A little of this and a little of that.
Have you taken it in to have it checked out by the dealer for warranty work?

No, however, I have discussed the issue with the service writer at my local dealer and he looked at me like I had two heads. I'm doing as much research as I can before I drop it off. I think this is a problem that many people have but have not blogged about. I'm trying to see if anyone else has noticed this problem. When I brought this issue up with my son (2016 1794) he said he has an issue but hasn't done anything about it. Dealers aren't into troubleshooting and this is a problem that will require much troubleshooting, so I am doing as much fact finding as I can before I start beating them up.

Research is good. Sounds like you've got a good plan. I fortunately don't have this problem.
