Be very careful on the passenger side . Removing the shock can mess up the rear air coolant line pretty easy.

When I did it to an old Sequoia we clamped the top of the shock and literally twisted the shock apart to since it was rusted so bad you could not get the nut off the top of the shock. This took awhile and a lot of cussing. But it was two big guys using a lift and a breaker bar for torque on the lower half of the shock.

You could try a torch but we felt it was too easy to mess up the coolant line with it.
