    Hello everyone,

i have. 3rd gen, 2016 tundra crew max, 16k mi the front seat center seat option. I really prefer the console.

ive looked thru lots of threads here and posts where people have asked if it can be done but nobody who has actually done it and posted pics.

im ok with the steering column becuz i think converting that would be way too much work. But i do want to swap out the seat for center console. And also replace the area where the shifter used to be with a lil tray of some sort. One person did that on this site i found but link is dead.

    Anyone successfully done this swap?

I yanked the center seat and just built my own console but there should be a simple swap as long as you are OK with the column shifting.

The supports and tunnel have to be the same and it could be a 30 minute job I bet.

There might not be power wiring or accessory wiring under your seat but it is really easy to pop out and look too.

Have you looked at a junk yard (pick-your-part) place and just purchase the center console plus the single seat, whether it’s the driver side or passenger side. I’m sure you can drill or attach the center console to something.
