Hey everyone, my name is Jon I'm from VA, long time looker, first time posting, mainly because my truck has ran flawlessly until now, but I could use some help/advice. I’ve got a 2017 Tundra that has started acting up, truck has 99k miles and after a couple days of noticing its cues, 1. it seems when I take a left hand turn, regardless of speed the truck flashes the traction slip light flashes and I lose power to the drive wheels, once I straighten the wheels it goes back to normal drive mode, with no lights flashing, no issues turning right, also notice the speedometer flutters if I get off the gas and just let it coast. 2. ABS is activating when I brake at all times, it never throws codes, or flashes lights on dash when it does it, I’ve read the numberous pages in regards to WSS, tone rings, wiring harnesses but all those pages I could find lead back to having codes to read which I have none. My brain tells me WSS area or wiring, but I think the only way to read what it’s doing is to have a bidirectional scanner running live data as I drive to see which wheel is losing the connection, which I don’t have. Yet. I did get new tires put on back at end of June, but the truck has also had 1500 miles put on it since then, and it wasent doing any of this when it left the shop. I have briefly inspected the WSS wiring and connections and they seem to be in good shape, I’ve also jacked up all 4 tires and inspected wheel bearings by pushing on tires at 12 and 6 and 9 and 3, no movement in any of them. I still hear the “ABS clunk” at 5 or 10 MPH and only once or twice had the traction slip light flash while doing that. Any help is greatly appreciated, I know this has been discussed many times befor. Thanks all.
