    • So I was hoping to replace my non working foglights with a pair I just received this weekend. When I open up the fender cover I noticed the foglights are connected differently then what I've seen on YouTube videos and looks like it won't be exactly plug and play. As you can see on the pics the factory connector has been cut on the driver side and it's has more connectors running to different areas. Any idea what all this is and how should I go about replacing the foglights?

Update, plugged in new foglight on passenger side and won't work, can't connect it on driver since connector is cut...

Did you verify the wires have power?

Thats a hacked install. That is one of those cheap aftermarket HID kits that were everywhere for $50.00

Looks like the 15a fuse is blown for the foglights.... will go to autozone tomorrow for a replacement.

I was guessing it was some hid foglights, can I just remove all that crap and just do a straight plug and play? Any idea how I can fix the driver side foglight connector that is cut, besides replacing the wiring harness?

Also the hid foglights should not be wired to the headlights right? Will have to trace the hid foglight wiring tomorrow but it might be wired together. Previous owner put some old spyders headlights and not sure if they are wired together

    Don’t feel bad

My 07 had hack job HID kits when i got it

I fixed the headlight portion of it but still have to fix the fog lights part of it.

    You're not the only person
