I’m trying to install an ARB Summit Bumper on my 2020 Tundra CrewMax. The instruction manuals are horrible. I’ve been researching and asking for help but not getting a lot of feedback. I’m trying to use the template that it came with to cut out the piece below the headlights. Instructions don’t tell you where to finish your cut. Also marked out my grille but something doesn’t feel right. If I use the given measurements and lay it out accordingly, I’ll be cutting some on the fastener’s and the tabs right on the corners I’d be cutting off the mounting tabs. I’ve circled them in red for detail. Called ARB and they weren’t much help. For those guys that have installed this bumper, please help.

Something does not seem right without looking at the template. But it looks like it is a bolt on replacement for the front bumper. Why would the bumper dealer not help you?

I am sure someone will chime in that'll be some help. Good luck to ya.

You should be able to see the template in the 1st picture. The instructions are very vague. I didn’t purchase at a dealership, got it online on Black Friday.

I was talking about the bumper dealer (just like it says above)

It looks like you just remove the end pieces leaving the attachment points. Given that they give a template you should be able to tape that on there and cut on both ends removing the end pieces leaving the attachment piece on each side. If i remember correctly those two end pieces just push into place and there are no connection pieces for them. The cut line looks so then down there you will be missing any connector pieces,,,(that is what it looks like to me).

If you are having that much trouble i would call the dealer that makes those bumpers

Yeah I’ve called and emailed ARB Tech Support and they haven’t gotten back to me. I did end up removing and cutting it out. From looking at the picture in the instructions, it seems to be wider at the bottom of the cutout.

Saw this photo on Reddit. Post was 3 years old but it looks like they just notched the grill to clear the brackets. IMG_1163.jpg

Will you be installing a winch? If so, then you need to cut it out.

Jus got done installing mine. I was surprised that no one here chimed in any of my questions so I was left basically figuring it out on my own.

No winch, but should only need the center cut out to clear one? Looking at the instructions not sure I understand why they cut the area outboard of the brackets. Were you able to retain any the grill clips?
